This conference will cover a variety of important topics related to surveying education.  Below is a tentative agenda (subject to change based on abstracts).  Prior to the start of the conference on Sunday June 30th, we will have a welcome reception. The first day will focus on collaborations with industry and professional organizations as well as have a student poster session. The second day will focus on cutting edge geomatics research and courses followed by the SAGES business meeting and organization of the subcommittees providing opportunities to get involved and contribute.  The third day will include a mix of presentations and workshops to help shape the future of surveying education.

The last day of the conference will be your chance to explore scenic Oregon including various sites in the spectacular Columbia River Gorge. The Gorge is home to breathtaking waterfalls (>90 on the Oregon side), mountains, and diverse ecosystems. It offers many opportunities for a variety of recreational activities. It also includes many important historical sites.  Don’t miss out on this great opportunity to network with colleagues while enjoying lush scenery!

Note that the Columbia River Gorge is close to Portland, so the buses will drop off those at a hotel by the airport who wish to fly out of Portland the next day before it returns to Corvallis.
